FERRORAMA AND ALBA’S DRUMSTICK:Ferrorama’s drums player, Thomas Pimentel, is now endorsed by Alba’s drumstick. The company’s first contact with the band took place during one of Ferrorama’s performances in a music fair in São Paulo in 2009.
Alba, which also endorses renowned musicians such as China de Castro, Dinho Santos, Chocolate, Fabrício Mendonça and others, got interested in Ferrorama’s work and the partnership was then successufully established. According to Thomaz: “I felt Brazil lack a high quality drumstick.

Manifesto Rock Fest Final Step: It was, certainly, one of the best feltivals of all time. There were 50 bands taking part on the five-decisive-step festival of much adrenaline and Rock’n’Roll. The final dispute was really intense. The top 10 bands were sharing the stage of the crowded and exiting Manifesto Bar (São Paulo/Brazil).
We’d like to thank for all the organization and also all the bands that took part in this unique event.
Ferrorama got the 4th place and congrats Nonah, the champion, for their performance.

Best Drums Player Prize: Thomaz Pimentel, Ferrorama’s drums player, was elected the best drums player of Manifesto Rock Fest. He won a kit of mics for drums, the most recent release of LeSon, as a prize.

Rock 4 Life: In April 2009, Mr. Joe Bird, Quickstar Production’s project productor and director, placed in Baltimore, MD, USA, and actual member of Maryland Better Business Bureau, was hunting for new rock variation and genres in order to release the 15th CD of “Rock 4 Life” Internatiional Collection, having 22 bands taking part in the projet.
The producer has listened to Ferrorama sound and immediately got interested by the song “Bacana”. He felt the song would fit perfectly in the project, which has its release coming up in August 2009. Brazil will be represented by Ferrorama with the song “Bacana” on track 2 of the CD.

Ferrorama in Paraty: The Brazilian radio station Jovem Pan FM merchandized a contest in March called “Diving in Paraty with Ferrorama”. The audience should post which Ferorama’s song they liked the best and why. The most creative answers also won a digital camcorder to record all the adventure. Besides the major prize, it was also raffled dozens of Ferrorama’s kits, containing T-shirt, CDs and bottons for the best answers.
The band and the radio audience put Paraty down! The weekend, from April 03 to 05, was unforgettable. Everyone could dive and enjoy the natural beauty of Paraty. Tatiane Cabral de Araujo and her friends got an acoustic pocket show, exclusively for them on the beach. Paraty also got a pocket show from Ferrorama at Dinho’s bar, located downtown on this historical city. It was really worth. Prepare yourself for the next ones…
KISS: We couldn’t help talking about the best show performed in São Paulo so far. The unforgettable spectacle was performed on April 07 by KISS. The show began amazingly with Dr. Sin surprising everybody with their songs; especially the drums player Ivan Busic who showed up wearing a Ferrorama’s T-shirt. It was really awesome and Ferrorama thanks the guys a lot for the support.
Surf Wednesday:It is a traditional party which takes place every Wednesday at Canter Bar, inside the Jockey Club, in São Paulo. Ferrorama performed there on April 08, showing an enjoyable repertoire with lots of 60’s and 70’s Rock’n’Roll songs. The crawd got really excited with the songs and could enjoy lots of surf music all night long.

Releasing Party: Pimentelli Produções and Thurbo Music hosted the vernissage for the releasing of Ferrorama’s CD. The party took place at Wild Horse Music Bar on March 20. It was an amazing party containing more than 300 people, including their family members, friends, the press and famous artists of the Rock scenery. Ferrorama gave as a gift to the audience a 45-minute show with songs from the CD and also two cover songs (Creedence Clearwater Revival and Kiss). The success was huge and the party went throughout the night ‘till 3 a.m.

Na Pilha: Na Pilha is an alive program broadcasted by RBS – TV COM, that focuses on a youth audience. Hosted by the nice and qualified Jordana Pires, it goes on air every Saturday, lasting about an hour and a half. On March 07, in an uncommited way, Jordana presented Ferrorama in her program. They performed a funny and variable repertoire with 11 songs. It was also raffled some CDs and promotional kits from the band during the week programing.

Clipe Total: Ferrorama showed up at an interview TV program named “Clipe Total”on February 06. The program is hosted by Fabio Lacerda on Canal São Paulo. The band took advantage of the situation to tell some more genuine history about their day-by-day, from their leisure activities to the commited working and rehearsaling hours. They also presented their just lauched CD and the video clip “Vem Ficar De Conjuntinho Do Meu Lado”...
Manifesto Bar: On February 15, the great friend and producer, Ivan Busic, invited Ferrorama to play with him on Manifesto Bar stage. The band played five classical Rock’n’Roll songs for celebrating his birthday, along with some other great monsters of the music. They shared the stage with musicians such as: Rafael Bittencourt (Angra), Hudson, Edu Ardanuy and Andria Busic (Dr.Sin), among others. It was a remarkable night of pure and high quality Rock’n’Roll and nice people!

CD News: Ferrorama’s new album is already available on music stores, distributed by Thurbo Music. Thurbo Music Records is already looking for a place, and date, where the official releasing show will soon take place.
Solidarity: The producer Denner Datti organized two beneficent events in October in favor of Fundo Filantrópico Pitágoras (Pythagoras Philanthropic Fund), which took place on October 15 at Bar Capital da Vila and October 28 at Clube Athletico Paulistano. Ferrorama performed on both band meetings and has already warned to be ready to take place and help at any time.

Expomusic 2008: The biggest Latin America Music Fair, which took place at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo within September 26 and 28, was a great success. It’s the most expected event for musicians in the country. Ferrorama was at Sound Maker Amplifiers stand, placed at Pavilhão Azul, where they performed for an exceptional and fond of rock and roll music public. It was really worth for those who were over there.
Jovem Pan Online: On September 22, Ferrorama gave an interview at Jovem Pan Online (a Brazilian radio station), in a program hosted by Rafael Boro. It was a long and enjoyable chat. Click here and have some fun.
Funstation: It’s been released, experimentally, in September, a new digital plataform called FUNSTATION. It happens to be a digital “totem” in a physical format which will be available on bookstores, supermarkets and shops, such as: Fnac, Saraiva, Carrefour and Chili Beans. Thurbo Music Records will make available, for 90 days, its audio and video contents, so people can get some songs for free. Ferrorama has disposed three tracks of their new album: “Vem Ficar De Conjuntinho Do Meu Lado”, “O Brasil é Enorme” and “O Mundo”.
Shows: Ferrorama performed last Saturday (September 06) in a great MotoCross event in the town of Bauru, sharing the stage with the band Homens de Marte. Filling all the audience with pure adrenaline and Rock’n’Roll, it was a spectacle.

About the CD: Ferrorama’s CD is being made by Sony SADC Brasil, ordered and distibuted by THURBO MUSIC, containing 13 tracks of their own. All the songs were produced by Ivan and Andria Busic (Dr. Sin). The artistic production was performed by Marco Godoy. The CD was recorded at NORCAL and PIMENTELLI studios, mixed by Adriano Daga, mastered at MOSH STUDIOS by Walter Lime and has its releasing date scheduled for September 2008.
Shows: Ferrorama has been presenting at Canuck’s Canadian Pub on Vila Olimpia neighborhood (São Paulo) every Thursday at 9.00 pm, sharing the stage with the band Homens de Marte. It’s worth watching!
Vídeo Clip: The video clip of the song “Vem ficar de conjuntinho do meu lado” is already in its final stage of edition. What is calling everybody attention are the flashes of scenes captured during the trips of the band members throughout the east of Europe and the north of Brazil. Coming soon!

1º Rock Festival 2008: Ferrorama has taken part in the 1º Rock Festival 2008, which took place at Café Aurora (São Paulo) on May 27, 2008. At this level, other five bands also performed a 30 min show. Julio, Luiz, Bob and Thomaz played lots of their own songs along with some classic Rock’n’Roll songs, which happened to classify Ferrorama to the semi-final level of the festival with other three bands. Wait for the new festival levels.
CD News: Ferrorama’s Marster CD has been already sent to the factory, containing 13 unpublished tracks, recorded at Pimentelli and Norcal studios, edited and mixed by Adriano Daga and mastered at Mosh Studios by Walter Lima. It’s believed that in approximately 30 days the CD will be available at stores all over Brazil, under the supervision and distribution of Thurbo Music.
Video Clip: The first video clip recordings have already begun. The song is “Vem Ficar De Conjuntinho Do Meu Lado”, which will bring scenes recorded in many places around the world, such as: the north of Brazil (Amazon), the east of Europe (Croatia, Serbia and Poland) and many scenes representing the day-by-day of the band. A funny and joyful plot with lots of rock’n’roll.
Radio Vignettes: At Thurbo Music studio, the band recorded many vignettes to be presented to many Brazilian radio stations, directed and produced by Marco Godoy. That is the official starting point to the national releasing of the new Ferrorama’s work song “Vem ficar de conjuntinho do meu lado”.

A Trip to the Origin of Rock’n’Roll: Ferrorama traveled to the USA where some important characters began their career, for instance: Elvis Presley, Roy Orbinson, Jerry Lee Lewis, Jonny Cash and Carl Perkins. The band visited places such as New York, Memphis, Nashville and Orlando. They were searching for the origin of Rock, specially in places as: Dakota Building (John Lennon’s house in NY), RCA Victors Studio, Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum, United Record Pressing, Roberts Bar, Blues City Café, the famous Beale St, Sun Studio, Stax Recording Studios, Gibson’s factory and Graceland.
Performing with The Dempseys:Thomaz featured a short performance in two shows of the band “The Dempseys” at Blues City Café, on the charming Beale St, where are placed the best pubs with alive song in the city of Memphis. They could also enjoy the master BB King’s show at BB King’s Blues Club.
Foo Fighters Show: Foo Fighters Show, which took place at FedEx Forum in Memphis, was an unforgettable gift which amazed everybody. The band Jimmy Eat World opened the show. Ferrorama was there!
Recording: The band’s recordings will start in April and May of 2008. They are really engaged and inspired to finalize their first CD with unpublished songs. The musical production is being realized by Andria and Ivan Busic and the executive production is in charge of Pimentelli. The realesing will not take long and it’ll be a great party. Soon!
Show at Café Piu-Piu: Ferrorama showed at a beneficent show at Café Piu-Piu, a traditional pub in a traditional neighborhood in São Paulo, organized by the musician and composer Danner Datti, where lots of Ferrorama’s promotional CD were distributed. The public got crazy with the good rock’n’roll played by the band.
Ferrorama and Thurbo Music: Ferrorama has had an agreement with Thurbo Music Records, which intends to release the band’s CD still in the first semester of 2008. Thurbo Music will see about the distribution, marketing and the artistic production of the band.
