Thomaz has been into the world of music since he was 5 due to the fact that his elder brothers used to play de guitar and listen to rock n’roll a lot. In 2001, Thomaz watched a performance of his brothers and got enchanted by the drum player Vera Figueiredo (she plays the drums in a famous Brazilian TV program called Altas Horas) who was playing the drums with his brothers that day.

At the same year he took up some drums classes with his brothers guitar teacher who taught him some basic principles of the instrument using the drums his brother Luiz had got even before his starting playing the guitar. His family got impressed how a such young boy could be so talented. By the age of 8 he could impress everyone who was watching him playing.

In 2003 Thomaz decided to go deeper into the musical world by attending drums classes with Bacalhau (the drums player of Ultraje a Rigor) who helped him figuring the most techical part of the instrument out.

By that time, Thomaz along with his elder brothers already played some music at their house hall for fun. A day one of his neighbors who might have got on his nerves either due to the noise the boys used to make or because he didn’t like the “musicians” likeness decided to throw some water over the walls watering the clothes which were drying on their clothes line.

By 2004 Thomaz and his brothers decided to form their first band called Star Ace. In that band Luiz used to play the bass, Júlio the guitar and Thomaz himself the drums. By the age of 12 he took up some drums classes with Ivan Busic (Dr. Sin’s drums player) who had once watched a video of his now student playing the drums in a theater play. Ivan decided to watch the band rehearsal and fell for it. He became the band’s producer though, along with his brother Andria Busic.

In 2004 the band Star Ace had its name altered. The official name now was FERRORAMA. Nowadays Thomaz is at high school and he’s very concerned about the band. He’s always trying to introduce new techniques in their compositions, besides helping with some lyrics by his own.
