Julio has been playing the guitar since he was 9. Influenced by some friends, he happened to know Rock’n’Roll and fond of the style. No more than one year later, he was given his first guitar by his grandparents and then music became a must in his life. He took part in many presentations organized by his music teachers. Playing for big audiences were unique experiences to him!

He then came up with the idea of having his own band. He grouped up with some friends and occasionaly performed at high school, clubs and end-of-year presentations. Time went by and his brothers Luiz and Thomaz, who grew up listening to rock’n’roll, learned how to play some other instruments. So Julio decided to form a band with them (a band at home).

In 2005 he attended some guitar classes with maestro Beto Iannicelli, which was, doubtless, an watershed moment in his life. Julio, influenced by his teacher, changed completely his conception of well-played music. Altogether with Ferrorama, he took part in a cover band playing The Beatles (Beatway). He’s used to performing at many pubs and parties with this band. According to him, Beatway was of major importance in creating his musical background, ‘cause by the knowledge got with The Beatles’ compositions he could begin writing his own lyrics.

After some time he invited Luiz Gustavo (Bob) to join them at Ferrorama. A very productive four-member group. Nowadays Julio has been graduating in publicity, writing lyrics and composing songs to FERRORAMA and he also loves spicy food.
