If you have lived during the 80’s, you’ve probably heard about FERRORAMA, a kind of toy that used to enjoy teenagers a lot by that time. That name now takes a new meaning with the releasing of the first work from FERRORAMA band.

Keeping in mind that what is good will always influence future generations, FERRORAMA is, in their first work, infuenced by great rock bands from the 90’s, 80’s and even 70’s such as: The Beatles, Kiss, Foo Fighter, Deep Purple, AC/DC, Joe Satriani, Jimmy Hendrix, Ultraje a Rigor, among many others.

The band had its beginning in 2005 when the brothers Julio (guitar), Luiz (bass) and Thomaz (drums) decided to gather their love for music and nature to create a rock band and to have some fun traveling around and playing to some friends.

FERRORAMA firstly showed themselves up at night clubs in São Paulo’s capital and coastland, basically having in their tracking list cover songs. As time went by, between rehearsals and shows, the band started composing their own songs. The next step would be the recording of their first CD produced by the brothers Andria and Ivan Busic.
In 2006, having their new CD in hand, the band took part in great music festivals, among them the LG MUSIC FESTIVAL. By the same year, a new member was integrated into the band, the guitar player Bob Bispo. With their new membership, Ferrorama now followed their way toward the countryside of São Paulo showing their performance around.

Wherever the band goes, they call everyone’s attention, since the public, midia and even producers. This is the case so Rick Bonadio chose the track “Bacana” to be part of a collection called “Comunidade Independente 1”. FERRORAMA is now ready to show their work all over Brazil following the releasing of their first album “Ferrorama”. The band has just had an agreement with Thurbo Music to distribute their album which will hit the shops by July 2008.

The 13 tracks (all of them from the band’s authorship) that compose the CD were selected by the band in partnership with their producers. The lyrics bring into discussion current teenager situations such as: love, nature, how to enjoy and take advantage from life and even politics.

The first single is the track “VEM FICAR DE CONJUNTINHO DO MEU LADO” and the band will, by July 2008, spend their time trying to capture images and finalize their first video clip.
